Portland House is a women only service run by Phoenix Futures in partnership with Framework Housing Association.

The service is located close to Newark town centre and houses up to nine women in seven fully furnished flats, each complete with lounge, kitchen and bath or shower room. The building also has a communal courtyard and lounge.

The service promotes a Therapeutic Community ethos combined with independent living and a service user will go through three stages; induction, core and resettlement, during her six to nine month programme which will include group and one to one sessions.

Service users can also take part in trips including working on the allotment, cinema, museum and theatre visits, picnics, walks, seaside outings and games in the park.
