As Assistant Administrator you will work as part of a team delivering recovery focused services within the prison environment. You will provide a wide range of administrative and reception duties and be required to collate, maintain and produce statistical reports in addition to maintaining databases. The variety of this role means you will also be required to manage diaries, arrange meetings and ensure that your office operates smoothly. You will have first rate IT, presentation and communication skills, both oral and written and hold or be working towards obtaining an ECDL certificate.

You will engage in a wide range of interesting administrative activities - from the efficient management of the office systems to ensuring that statutory health and safety checks are made and handling phone enquiries from clients seeking support. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for making and collating statistics, preparing reports, undertaking financial duties and supporting the team. STAR Facilitator (Step To Acheive Recovery)

treatment intervention, working within a clearly defined service specification. You will
be a key part of this multi-disciplinary team working directly with male offenders both

Drug Worker

We require a highly motivated and flexible individual to provide a peripatetic service throughout Hampshire delivering brief interventions to harmful and hazardous alcohol users.

Drug Worker

Hampshire Spotlight Service, Fareham
£18,732 - £21,542 per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work in our Spotlight Tier 2 open access service. We offer a range of interventions including; advice and information, needle exchange, brief interventions and group work to any adult who is concerned about their substance use.

You will be involved in a wide range of activities, including providing advice and information to substance misusers and carers, carrying out needs assessments, making appropriate referrals and delivering one to one/ group interventions using motivational interviewing techniques and solution focussed therapy. You'll also assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans for service users in the Open Access Service and organise and facilitate harm minimisation sessions for our clients.

There will be some evening and weekend work so a flexible approach is essential. You should possess an NVQ 3, or equivalent qualification, in counselling, group work and/or substance misuse, or be willing to work towards this. The role will be based in Fareham with the expectation that you will provide cover in our sister Tier 2 service in Havant as required.
