Bolton Tier 2 Services
What do we aim to achieve?
Our skilled staff members work with individuals who have a desire to change their pattern of behaviour and drug use, addressing health issues, social care , harm reduction and will refer into appropriate non-drug services, such as housing support, benefits etc.
We will work with our service users to support them in improving their physical and psychological health, as well as how they cope in society.
Who is our service for?
Our service is aimed at adults aged 18 or over, male or female, who reside in the Bolton area.
We are here to support people who are concerned about their own substance use, or people who are worried about a friend, partner, or family member.
We will work with people who are affected by substance use and are experiencing problems with physical health, mental health, social wellbeing or criminal justice.
How do we run the service?
We offer Harm minimisation, information and advice around substance use and related issues.
This may include drug-specific advice, information around harm reduction and overdose, or motivational work.
We work with other drug treatment services in Bolton and are able to refer people into appropriate treatment. We also refer into partnership services that provide support with a range of issues, such as; health, housing, employment and so on.
What are our opening hours?
Monday to Friday 9am - 7pm
Saturday 12pm - 3pm

How do I access the service?
Anybody can refer someone to our service or you can self refer by either coming in to talk to a worker or by telephone during office hours.
Call 01204-527057 for information and advice or to arrange an appointment with one of our workers.
If an assessment is required, a worker will arrange to meet you to discuss your needs and to develop a care plan.

By train and bus:
The nearest train station is Bolton, located on Trinity Street and just a short walk from our service. We are in a convenient location, so any bus heading to Bolton town centre is suitable.
