FAQS
I don’t know what service I need. Who can I speak to?
Our Central Office is open Monday- Friday 9am to 5pm on 020 7234 9778. We can chat to you about our services, the referral process and funding.
Alternatively, you can phone a service directly and talk to them about what they offer. You can find their details under the Our Services section of our website.
How good are your services?
We know our service users and external providers send in 4 compliments for every complaint received. To find out what our service users have said about us, read their testimonials, read their recovery stories or visit our Effective Recovery page
How do I go about getting into a Phoenix Service?
This is depends on which service you would like to attend. A good start is to phone the service directly by finding their numbers on their pages or phone our Quality Team in Central Office on 020 7234 9778 who can signpost you to your nearest or most appropriate service.
Our services will be able to guide you through the referral process, including helping with securing funding and any housing issues you might have.
How do I get a referral / funding to a service?
A good place to start is your local DAAT (Drug and Alcohol Action Team) who commission all of the substance misuse services in your area. You can look up your local DAAT’s contact details online (these can be found on your local government or council website).
If you are looking to attend a community service, it will usually have to be something within your area (unless you would like a drop-in service.)
For Residential rehab, the referral process is more complex. If you wish to pay privately, you will not have to go through your local DAAT. Our prviate funder subsidy can be found here
Alternatively, if you want Residential rehab but can not self-fund then you will need to go through the DAAT to get a community care assessment. This seeks to assess how suitable rehab is for you. You can find out more about the referral process by ringing 020 7234 9778 or a service directly.
Can I have a look around your services?
We love having people come and look around. All you have to do is contact the service directly and book in advance.
How do I know if I’m eligible for your rehabs?
There is an FAQ about eligibility here. This includes information for people with arson convictions and dual diagnosis’.
