Effective partnership working
As part of our collaborative approach, we work in partnership with commissioners, local community groups, other providers and service user representative groups to deliver effective services across England and Scotland. Below are a few examples of our partnership work.
Working in partnership to support people’s recovery
Phoenix Futures is proud to work in partnership with Inclusion Drug Alcohol Services and Midland Heart to deliver services at Park House. The Centre is commissioned by Birmingham Drug and Alcohol Action Team. Park House is an innovative new Centre of Excellence for drug and alcohol treatment in Birmingham. The Centre offers a unique ‘all under one roof’ approach to drug and alcohol detoxification, stabilisation and rehabilitation treatment. Park House provides an 18 bed residential service and community based rehabilitation.
Working in partnership to make communities safer
We work in partnership with NOMS and SPS to deliver a range of drug and alochol programmes throughout England and Scotland. In the criminal justice sector, we work in partnership with many agencies including South Yorkshire Probation Service to deliver DRR in Sheffield and DRR and ATR in Barnsley, and ASRO and DIDS in South Yorkshire; Staffordshire and West Midlands Probation Turst to deliver OURS in Birmingham and the South Yorkshire Police to deliver DIP in Barnsley
Working in partnership to give people a home
We work in partnership with a range of housing providers inclusing Framework, Stonham, Midland Heart, Riverside, South Yorkshire Housing Association, Liverpool Housing Trust, and Glasgow Housing Association. We also work in partnership with other organisations such as Glasgow Homelessness Network, Scottish Homlessness Involvement and Empowerment Network, Wirral YMCA and Shelter.
Working in partnership to support healthy lives, healthy people
In the health sector we work in partnership with Primary Care Trusts, GPs and NHS Commissioners.
Working in partnership to support families
Our specialist Family Services work in partnership with Children and Family teams in Social Services nationwide and Family Drug and Alcohol Courts in order to support families affected by parental substance misuse. We also work in partnership with other organisations, including the Family Addiction Support Service, to support families affected by drug and alcohol problems.
Working in partnership to support employability
To develop the skills and employability of our service users we work in partnership with Job Centre Plus, Apex Scotland, Shaw Trust and Adult Learning Network.
Working in partnership to support the environment
We work in partnership with Natural England, National Trust, Countryside and Greenspace to deliver our innovative Conservation Therapy Programme and we also work with RSPB Scotland. We have also started working in partnership with the Woodland Trust on our new initiative Phoenix Forest.
We are pleased to announce that we are working in partnership with the anti-sectarianism charity Nil By Mouth. Phoenix Futures share their vision that we should be ableto live in a society free from sectarianism where cultural and religious diversity is respected and celebrated by everyone.
