When was NORCAS founded?

NORCAS started out as the Norfolk Community Alcohol Service in Norwich in 1978. Since our first service opened we have offered support to rural communities, the homeless and vulnerably housed, and young and older people alike. In 2012 we became part of Phoenix Futures.

What are the main activities?

We provide FREE and CONFIDENTIAL specialist services in community settings throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. Our dedicated teams work to support those affected by problematic drug and alcohol use by providing 1-to-1 support and groups for young people affected by substance misuse and outreach support to people aged 65+ experiencing issues around alcohol, illegal substances, over the counter and prescribed medication.
