Training
We are committed to providing excellent training for our staff. All job roles are mapped against National Occupational Standards, which enables us to deliver relevant learning opportunities to support our staff to develop their competence and fulfil their personal development plans.Training Opportunities
There are numerous training opportunities at Phoenix Futures - on average we provide over 125 in-house 'training days' every month. Some of our key initiatives include:
- A two-day induction to help new staff gain an understanding of our work and values
- A funded Level 3 qualification in Drugs and Alcohol Competencies accredited through the Open College Network. Successful completion of this course also leads to accredited status with the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP)
- An accredited Management Development Programme with the Chartered Management Institute
- An on-going and varied programme to support key aspects of personal development
Training Recognition
In recognition of our commitment to training and development, we have been awarded the Investors in People standard. We are also an approved Learning Centre with the Open College Network and the Chartered Management Institute and were recognised as a model of best practice in workforce development by the National Treatment Agency.
