A volunteer who has previous administrative experience to work alongside our support team. We are looking for someone who has a “can-do” approach to their work and who enjoys working on their own initiative. Sheffield Residential Service, Yoga Instructor
We are looking for a fully qualified yoga instructor to deliver weekly yoga sessions to service users. Activities such as yoga provide our service users with time and space to reflect on their recovery as well as to keep fit and relax.

Sheffield Residential Service, Volunteer Driver with optional Practical / outdoor work Participant.
We are looking for volunteers who can drive our van to external parts of our programme, as well as taking people to their local park amongst other activities. We can offer you involvement in the activities you would be driving to, so if you have particular interests in practical and outdoors projects you get to be a part of ours, choosing to involve yourself as much as you wish. Driving excursions can expect to take about 15 minutes – half hour to particular projects with a minimum of 2 hours once at the location, before returning service users. All events would be staff accompanied and full support and training given on any areas of development of interest to you. Must have a D1 license and a willingness to get involved.

Sheffield Residential Service, Volunteer Group Work and Programme Assistant
We are looking for a team of volunteers to support the staff team and service users of our Programme.. This includes assisting in groups; providing support to service users; helping maintain structure (challenging negative behaviours; identifying and encouraging positive behaviours); helping with admissions and discharges and front of house support. Good communication skills are essential. All training for each part of the service, as well as full support from the staff team, is provided.
We can also offer flexibility with shifts in your role as volunteering can be provided over the weekend and evenings.

Sheffield Residential Service, Volunteer Creative Group Worker
We are always looking to evolve our service and have a variety of projects we need support with
- Family support volunteer to with administrative duties attached, to include contact families/involved others with questionnaires; supporting groups with family members mentoring of residents and significant others.
- Allotment Project: If you have a passion for gardening or allotments and would like to help expand our allotment project we would love to hear from you. The role involves working at the allotment and mentoring of service users alongside this.
- Relaxation/Meditation: Stress and anxiety, mixed with poor sleep is a huge issue felt by all residents during their time with us. We would be very interested in anyone with skills in relation to help us develop this part of our programme further. This is most effective when delivered on evenings.
- Exercise/keeping fit: Be a part of furthering the amount of exercise and physical activities residents can be a part of. This can be challenging when going through detox, and the limitations some may have with health conditions so anyone with particular skills in delivering fitness classes and getting the residents moving in a safe and effective way, we would love to hear from you.
