Fit2Play is a football based health and well-being programme. The programme runs over 10 weeks. Each week participants attend a health and wellbeing workshop before taking part in football and training. Fit2Play creates an environment where participants can socialise and build friendships without drugs or alcohol.
We know men are more likely than women to ignore poor health and are less likely to ask for help with their problems. Fit2Play is a way to get men interested in their health and well-being and give them the opportunity to ask for help.
Participants show improved mental and physical health and in 2014 50% of participants who smoked decided to quit during the programme. Participants also:
- discovered new hobbies
- developed healthier eating habits
- started to integrate back into their local communities

Get Fit For Free
“Get Fit For Free” programme is a project that provides weekly sessions of various activities for our service users free of charge with breakfast included. The sessions are run weekly at a local Boxing academy for two hour sessions of various activities for our service users free of charge.
