Our Sheffield Residential Service offers abstinence-based treatment for adults with drug and alcohol problems. Based in a large Victorian house in tranquil and beautiful grounds, the service is set in a leafy area of suburban Sheffield. We are a short bus ride from the city centre and within walking distance of the world renowned Peak District National Park. Our team of drug and alcohol workers provide a wide range of interventions to support clients through the process of change, including one-to-ones, group work, and complementary therapies.
We provide 3 and 6 month programmes, to fully experience the entire benefits of the programme 6 months is recommended. Residents are responsible for the day-to-day running of the house and support each other throughout the programme, with more senior residents becoming ‘buddies’ for new residents. After completing treatment at the residential, residents are supported to move onto our supported housing services in Sheffield or return to their own area.
