As Chief Executive of Phoenix Futures, I am proud to share our latest Impact Report. This is a reflection of the incredible work our teams, partners, and communities have achieved together.
This year, we supported more than 17,000 people directly, and countless more through advocacy and outreach. Every number represents a life touched, a family supported, and a community strengthened.
What stands out for me this year?
- Breaking down barriers to rehab – Our new services in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire have transformed access in Northeast Scotland, proving that innovation and partnership can make hope a reality.
- Equity and inclusion at the heart of everything we do – From gender-responsive services to tackling racial inequality and stigma, we are committed to ensuring no one is left behind.
- Leading the fight against stigma – Our contribution to the Anti-Stigma Network is thriving, we're working with many different partners to deliver training, language guides, and campaigns that change perceptions and open doors.
- Housing and justice initiatives – Providing stability and hope for those with complex needs, because recovery starts with a safe place to call home.
- Environmental sustainability – Our green initiatives are reducing our carbon footprint and improving wellbeing, as we work towards net zero.
We'll be highlighting a range of service case studies and themes from the report over the coming week, sharing our psychosocial practice and welcoming insight from others.
As we work through the final year of our Making Hope a Reality strategy, our focus is clear: expanding equity, reducing harm, and ensuring everyone who needs support can access it without barriers or stigma.
