Residential Services
Phoenix Futures Scotland’s residential services offer a drug and alcohol-free environment and structured support for people looking to address their problematic drug or alcohol use. Based on a Therapeutic Community model, our programme promotes change by developing self-worth and personal responsibility, and challenging individual attitudes and behaviours. Rae House in Aberdeen and our Glasgow residential service both offer support to people over the age of 18, whilst Harper House offers support to whole families.
Supported Housing
Our Supported Housing services in Glasgow and Aberdeen provide safe and secure accommodation for people transitioning from residential treatment, rehabilitation, or the prison system. These services provide a vital stepping stone toward independent living.
While in supported housing, you are encouraged to build confidence and independence by developing life skills, managing your own finances, accessing volunteering opportunities, and preparing for long-term accommodation.
Support continues throughout your stay, including regular recovery-focused sessions, psychosocial group interventions, and opportunities to take part in social events and community activities.
What the people that use our services say
‘The people in the groups are so nice and non-judgmental. I can relate so much to what they say and how they feel. Before I would have said this isn’t for me but it has helped so much. I have met so many lovely people. It’s a community and a good community.’

Community Services in North Lanarkshire and Fife
Across North Lanarkshire and Fife, Phoenix Futures delivers a range of community-based services supporting people and families affected by drug and alcohol use. Our passionate, experienced teams work closely with people at all stages of recovery, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and reduce social isolation.
In North Lanarkshire, we operate across all six localities—Coatbridge, Airdrie, Bellshill, Cumbernauld, Motherwell, and Wishaw, offering support from our dedicated base in Coatbridge. We provide a wide range of services, including one-to-one and group support, Peer Mentoring, CBT counselling, Recovery through Nature, Family Support, and advice and signposting. We also assist people being released from prison, helping them transition back into the community with the proper recovery support in place.
In Fife, our work is centred around connection and community. We deliver the Communities of Recovery Peer Mentor service and the Recovery through Nature programme, bringing people together to realise their potential and build positive support networks. Our timetable of activities includes mentoring, training, and employment opportunities, as well as Recovery Cafés, psychosocial group interventions, and social events.
We also work with people preparing for release from HMP Perth, offering peer mentor training in custody and ongoing support post-release. We aim to break down barriers to recovery, challenge stigma, and demonstrate that recovery isn't just possible, it’s happening every day in communities across Fife and North Lanarkshire.
