COVID-19 Coronavirus Update

19th June 2020

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update

Protecting your Well-Being

Our services are open and will continue to support you. We also want to make sure we protect your well-being. We are continuing to monitor the situation around Coronavirus.  We have taken additional measures to protect the wellbeing of our service users, their loved ones, our staff and the general public.

We are following the latest advice and guidelines which you can find from Public Health England and Health Protection Scotland.

Attending our services:

Our services remain open and will continue to provide support.

If you have symptoms as described here (a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste) or have been in contact with someone with coronavirus. Please do not come to our services.

Instead, call 111 or use the 111 Online Coronavirus Pathway for free advice and treatment.

Please do call our services and our staff will work with you to ensure we can offer you alternative support for when you cannot come into the service. This might include telephone support.

If you have any questions relating to the virus and how it will impact access to and life in our services please speak to the staff at the relevant service. Contact details for each of our services can be found here.

Prior to appointments, assessments or on entry to the service you may be asked some questions about your health and travel. Our staff will advise you whether it is safe for you to attend the service and if not will support you to get advice as well as look at how they can support your recovery if you can’t attend the service.

Please note that we may need to make changes to timetables and appointments, however will keep you informed as best as we can.

Visiting Loved Ones in our Residential Rehabs and Housing Services

We are pleased to announce at some of our services we are now beginning to allow visits.

With the latest announcement from the government, Phoenix Futures have taken steps to reinstate visits to our Residential Services in England, with certain actions required to ensure these are done in a safe manner. Please note at this stage in line with Scotland guidelines we are unable to accept visits at the Scottish Residential Service.

For more information on visiting our residentials at this time please read the document found below.

Where we are unable to offer visits at the moment we are continuing to make alternative arrangements for family contacts to be made remotely. Our staff will be happy to talk to you about any concerns you may have around contacting your loved ones – just call the relevant service.

Business Continuity

We have continued to review and update our business continuity plans and have contingency plans in place for each of our services to ensure we can continue to provide support.

If you are a commissioner or a funder of our services and want to find out more on our contingency planning please contact [javascript protected email address]
