Join us for the Recovery Street Film Festival

The Recovery Street Film Festival is now closed for entries and a shortlist will be announced soon. During Recovery Month we will be putting on 6 pop-up cinema events across the country to showcase the films that made the shortlist and promote recovery. The events will be:

Saturday 12th September - Recovery Walk Durham, The Sands, Durham, DH1 1SG

Tuesday 15th September - Keel Row Shopping Centre, Blyth, NE24 1DP

Thursday 17th September - HOME Cinema, 2 Tony Wilson Place, Manchester, M15 4FN

Saturday 19th September - Scotland Recovery Walk Glasgow Green Greendyke St, Saltmarket, Glasgow G1 5DB

Tuesday 22nd September - Catford, London

Saturday 26th September - Sheffield town centre

The films will illustrate the diverse issues that are faced by our service users and others who are trying to overcome addiction. By giving them a voice and a platform to tell their stories, the festival will empower people to tell their own stories of ‘ups and downs’ and how they reached recovery. Keep watching out for your chance to vote of the shortlisted films and for those of you that are near to one of the events- pop down to see the films and show your support!
