On Tuesday 5th May staff and service users from the Phoenix Futures group came together for our annual graduation ceremony.
The Phoenix Futures Annual Graduation, which is organised by our Learning and Development team, celebrates the learning achievements of both our staff and service users over the past year.
It demonstrates how the flexibility and wide range of qualifications Learning and Development offer allow learners to develop and gain qualifications to support them in their role or to progress in their personal life.
In the past year just under 80 staff and over 200 service users have completed qualifications.
Alongside celebrating these achievements, at this year’s ceremony a number of staff and service users were presented with special awards.
The winners included:
Staff Learner of the year – Leanne Case, HMP Onley
Staff Learner of the year – Lauren Downs, Scotland Recovery Hub
Service Contribution to Learning Award – Essex SAMS
ECEtt Contributor of the Year – Tom Wright, HMP Holloway
Trainer of the Year – Vicky Walls, HMP Wymott

In the next 12 months the Learning and Development team will be striving to support many more learners through their learning journey.
